MEDIA ADVISORY: The City of Fayetteville, Arkansas to Hold Hot Dog Cookout
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. Sept. 24
What: The City of Fayetteville is excited to announce its first-ever Hot Dog Cookout, bringing together local vendors to celebrate the community’s love of. food. Vendors from across Fayetteville will showcase their unique takes on the classic hot dog, while attendees enjoy live music, family-friendly games, and delicious food. The vendor with the best hot dog will receive a $500 prize, and a portion of all ticket proceeds will benefit The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank.

When: Saturday, Oct. 12; 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Live music - 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Vendors – 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Winning vendor announced – 3:30 p.m.
Where: All of the vendors will be all around the Fayetteville square on the streets of Center, Mountain, S Block Ave, and S East Ave. The live band will be located on the corner of Mountain Street, and the games will be on Center Street.
Tickets and Donations: Tickets are $15 and grant access to all vendor tastings. Purchase tickets at www.fayettevillear/hotdog.com. A portion of proceeds will support The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank. Donations can also be made directly through the website.

Press Credentials: Media interested in attending must RSVP with Dr. Ashley Walton, Director of Events at 777-777-7777. Parade press credentials will be issued upon arrival at the corner of S Block St. and W Mountain St.
